Shared Risk Partnership
For the longest time I listened to business advice from experts that have never started a company. The advice didn’t work at all. Great ideas but no chance of applying the ideas, so no results. Hear or live that before?
I was doing work just to do it, resulting in very little revenue from the actions I was taking.
I do what I do to help small business and have really always wanted to help Small Business by focusing on their needs and bringing real solutions, not just work to do. The only ones I have seen do this (and I have seen a lot of their private label work recently) are In Focus Brands and their client-partners; so here I go-taking the risk and the growth that will come along with it by applying to be a client-partner.
I’m 63 years old and am tired of mediocrity, bad or no results, and getting the wrong advice.
I am now partnering with the absolutely, most efficient and results driven group of people and organizations I have ever seen - In Focus Brands and their portfolio of companies.
What I now understand better than ever, is the importance of teamwork, execution and the culture surrounding it.
Example: When a Chris Jones Media project was in trouble, the IFP Films team stepped in to save the day with no questions asked. The client was happy and we moved on.
It is not possible to articulate how great it is to have a team like that behind me.
‘Shared Risk’ is something I have now become very familiar with. The idea of ‘Free’ doesn’t work because that is where you stay and nothing is free. I am raising capital and taking risks to be part of this collective which is proof of ‘Shared Risk’ and I have a clock ticking too, just like every business that is really in business.
Many new thought processes have been embraced from this new partnership. Most important is the actions tied to the knowledge gained. They emphasize teamwork and a culture that has seen little to no turnover for extended periods of time.
This is the kind of culture I need to be a part of-focused on results and fun partnering not adversarial relationships and politics, and what I’ve been missing in my own processes for a long time.
I have seen what happens to an organization when this collective pulls their support.. absolute silence. This is a team that truly has your back - always.
I am now going through a vetting process along with taking a risk to raise funds to become fully involved, and know beyond any doubt that I am now in the right place for a new year launch. Stay tuned or reach out to start the conversation of all the services I will be able to provide to my Small Business network.
