Social Media Trends this week: Sunday July 4th

It’s the End of pride month, and the beginning of Disability pride month- and one of the loudest months of the year, in the heights of summer.

The buzz of summer heat drowns out braincells, and the rain that’s been pounding the ground for two weeks now in my area makes the humidity soar.

July 4th

Most posts this week, in the leadup to the holiday, have been orbiting the themes of July 4th, America’s day of independence. I’ve seen posts about famous historical figure’s speeches, jokes about fireworks, and on twitter, a popular hashtag for fake barbeque tips.

After the day passes, you can still capitalize on the surge of patriotic sentiment, with Red, White and Blue posts and items.

Other than that, It’s been a quiet week on the memey front.
